What We Believe.
In awe and wonder, we believe in and trust God, who created all that has ever been and will ever be.
We believe in Jesus the Christ, who shows us what the Kingdom of God is all about and what it means to live as a part of it. We believe that Jesus loved the world so much and wanted us to find ourselves in God, that he gave himself up for us on the cross.
We believe that Jesus, not death, has the true and final word. That word is Resurrection and it is the gift of new life.
We believe in the living presence of God, the Holy Spirit, that guides us, challenges us, and empowers us. The Holy Spirit reminds us that we need not be afraid, for God is with us always.
We trust in God’s Word as contained in the Bible. It is a living document of the Truth of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God also speaks to us through the rich tradition of the church, our own experiences, and the wisdom that God has given to us.
We are thankful that God throughout time has called together broken people like us to be the church- a people blessed to be a blessing to others and to help people grow in love and faith as we follow Jesus.
While we are all made in the image of God, it is also true that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We are not perfect, but God moves in our weakness to touch lives. We believe that God is using us as a beacon of hope to all. All means all.
We’re glad you are here.
