“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Against such things there is no law.”

John Rev. Jay Jackson in the Heritage Room on Wednesday evenings for this 10-week study on how to grow in and live by the Spirit. This study will parallel the sermon series that Jay will preach throughout the season of Lent.

Reading Scripture

Rev. Becca Newcomb

Wednesday Evenings 6:30-7:30 p.m.

New Beginnings Classroom

January 10-February 14

Opening our Bible and reading it can be a scary and daunting task! Where do we start? What does it mean? What happens when it doesn’t make sense or seems to contradict itself? But studying scripture is also an important spiritual discipline for every Christian! This six-week study is for anyone who wants to grow in their knowledge and confidence of Scripture so that they can incorporate Bible study into their everyday life.

The Visible Image

A study of Jesus

in the Gospel of John

Jerrod Allen

Wednesday Evenings 6:30-7:30 p.m.

New Beginnings Classroom

February 21-April 25

92% of the Gospel of John is unique to John and not found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Pretty cool. John focuses on who Jesus is. I don’t have all the answers on how to study the Bible. I have a way that I do it, and I think it is really fun – especially with a group of people who like to have a good time. I am inviting you to come and walk with me in this study of Jesus – the visible image of the invisible God. I am inviting you to experience the deal in a new way. My goal is for you to understand John’s Gospel and for you to get to know Jesus deeply. Please come and be a part.
